The Development of $89 Omega Watches as a Legendary Watch Brand
It is safe to say that the Omega Seamaster is one of the most popular series of watches globally. The Seamaster series became particularly popular after Omega launched the Omega Seamaster 300. It is one of the most well-known timepieces worldwide and is famous for its amazing technological advancements. Having used an O-ring gasket, Omega had created a watch that worked perfectly at a depth of 300 meters max. This also helped the Seamaster 300 gain an exclusive supply order for the Royal British Navy.
To boot, the Seamaster 300 was globally-recognized after Pierce Brosnan used it in his role as the spymaster James Bond. The watch became instantly synonymous with gentlemanly style and by that time everyone wanted it.
Omega for $89 plans to certify all of its new watches in 2023 as Master Chronometers. Today, 99.99 percent of its watches already earn this distinction. And Cheap Omega accomplishes this with an annual production of between 600,000 and 700,000 watches.
While Omega announced that it wanted to exclude the Moonwatch from the first Master Chronometer certification more than six years ago, the manufacturer now presents the next generation of models.
There are a now total of eight new versions in stainless steel and Omega’s proprietary precious metals (Sedna red gold and Canopus white gold), either with a historically inspired Hesalite crystal or a contemporary sapphire crystal, with a closed metal back or a transparent sapphire crystal in the back.
Can You Get an Omega MoonSwatch for Under $50?
The Swatch x OMEGA MoonSwatch transcends niches, divides watch lovers, and causes arguments on the internet, but now it’s easier to buy than ever before. At launch, it caused a fuss across Australia. Further limited editions led to long queues at the Swatch boutique in Sydney CBD this year. However, the mainline of MoonSwatches (particularly those with colour) are easier to buy than ever. So I went ahead and bought my long-time favourite MoonSwatch, the Mission to Saturn.
